



The Valenzuela City Library or (Valenzuela City Academic Center for Excellence) is a public library located in Valenzuela City, serving its community by providing free resources, including books, digital computers, and discussion rooms.
According to RA 7743, Public Libraries should have the following functions:
ValACE offers a wide variety of reading materials that are provided by the LGU which is prescribed by the DepED.
ValACE has conference rooms where people are free to do practices and discussions, They do collaborations with schools to promote education and literacy.
Patrons express that ValACE continuously offers other programs to promote literacy.

Available from 1st to 3rd floors. These spaces are for people who either want to study or lounge around, drinks are allowed in this area.

Available on the 1st floor. Most programs and events for children such as the ‘storytelling for kids’ are held here.

Available on the 2nd floor. Provides study cubicles for those who prefer to do their work privately. Only beverages are allowed in this area.

Available on the 3rd floor. Provides cubicles with computers that have Wi-Fi access. Food and drinks are not allowed in this area.

Available in the 4th and 5th floors upon reservation. A place where meetings and some events held by the library take place.

A space dedicated for creating handcrafted arts and crafts by their talented participants. Some of their works can also be bought.

A program to teach people how to speak other languages. Japanese is currently the one being taught.
A program that promotes reading among the community. There is one for children and one for teens and adults.

This event happens once a month, it is for viewing the full moon and stargazing through a telescope from their own rooftop.


This event happens once a month. A participant must register to attend, its topic varies as the speaker is different every time and they share their skills and expertise.
It’s a catalogue where visitors of ValACE can write down their dreams for the future for them to come back to again in the future.


Once a month, ValACE gives free brewed coffee for those who are still at the library at the late hours.
